Things didn't go as planned. While I had always used my publication's cameras to record interviews, the camera wasn't working. My next best bet was to take some photos of the banquet, which made the video a bit boring. My audio was much better by this point in my second year on staff, but poor lighting made my little-to-no b-roll blurry and dark.
