Although my adviser was against it, I wrote this story after getting entranced by George Santos' fall from Congress, to his rise on the app Cameo, he was the perfect example of what happens when we elect unqualified leaders. Especially with the approaching election season, I wanted to cover Santos, hopefully opening some viewers' eyes to the importance of researching candidates before casting a ballot.
