As previously mentioned, new state laws have restricted students through nicknames, restroom usage, and now, permission forms are required for all school events in Seminole County. While I originally intended to focus on how this would impact our pep rally's attendance...it was canceled due to lightning. I had to do a quick turn on this story, which was difficult due to the amount of information I needed to cover. However, I was able to finish in a short window to get the story uploaded with accurate information after interviewing our principal and administrators. Despite time crunches, it is still important to have reliable information in all stories and news coverage.
